| Thanks to Eli's cousin Kelly and her husband Aaron for picking up Eli from the SLC airport, putting him up for the night, taking Eli on a quick hike up to the Y the next morning, then out for some awesome Chinese food before dropping Eli off at the MTC! |

| The following is Eli's first email to us (it came a couple days after he entered): "Hey parents and family. I'm sending this email to let you know I'm alive. Don't have time to talk about all the MTC experience, that will come. Wednesday is P-day for all us "Dutchies." (Expect and email then)." |
